Finding the Right Perfume for You!

There are thousands, if not millions of different
scents out there to suit everybody's tastes!
From sweet scents, to flowery, to musky, fresh, etc.
How do you find your perfect scent? You search
high and low until you find the perfume that you
absolutely LOVE!

This perfume will be hard to part from because
you will love it so much, and there you go, your
signature scent! Make sure though, when you purchase
a perfume that it is the kind that lasts! A lot of
perfumes smell fabulous but unfortunately only have
a life span of about 20-30 minutes.

Personally, I like fresh flowery scents such as the
ultra-cheap Secret Garden perfume which, I am not
kidding you, still smells after 5-6 hours! It is also
very light and refreshing. This would be more of a
day perfume.

If you're looking for a perfume to use during a night out,
try Anais Anais by Cacharel. This has a stronger flowery smell;
very refreshing. It is said to be the fragrance of femininity
and love. This fragrance contains lilac, citrus, and ylang ylang.
It is a bit pricier but very worth your money.
I guarantee that you will love this perfume!

Another fragrance I also like is White Diamonds by
Elizabeth Taylor which contains a blend of lily, rose,
amber, oak moss and sandalwood. Simply irresistible!

Stay tuned tomorrow for more tips! :)

All About Hair

We all know hair can give you a lot of sex appeal, but you have to know how to take care of it. First step: do NOT wash you hair every day. This will strip away their natural oils in your hair that make it soft and shiny. In turn, it will leave your hair stringy and damaged. Secondly, make sure you use a good moisturiser for your hair, and do not use a lot because too much conditioner can make your hair oily. Third, deep condition once a week! This will prevent your hair from split ends and your hair will look shiny and healthy.

If you use a straightener, try to use it as less as possible as it will damage your hair. If you don't have a ceramic straightener, go buy one now. They are about $100, but they sure do the trick and they are much much healthier and safer on your hair than a regular straightener.

Some of the products that I use for my hair are Thermasilk and Got2Be. These are very inexpensive but they work like a charm. Thermasilk (if you blow-dry) will leave your hair very shiny and smooth. Got2Be has amazing products like volumizing moose and shiny serum. A good anti-frizz is Marc Anthony (although a bit more expensive), but again it does the trick by getting rid of your frizz.

The Best Make-Up for Your Face!

It's hard to find the right make-up for your face, as well as the right price. Most of the time, very cheap makeup is as it is: cheap. It won't last very long, and we all know that the colours are all wrong! I am a big make-up fan and so I've tested hundreds of products until I found the perfect one!

This line of makeup is called Mac (you can find it almost anywhere such as at the The Bay). Mac is a little expensive ( a tube of eye shadow is about $16) but it is worth it! Their eye shadows stay on all day and don't fade, and they have some of the best coloured eyeliners I have ever seen!

In fact it is so good that most stars use Mac for their makeup such as Britney Spears. Mac is expensive, but it is worth every penny!

How to Glam Up Your Shirts and Belts

Now if you read my previous column, I said that you could jazz up your old jeans just by making a little rip here and there, or simply by sewing on some sparkly sequins.

Well, the same goes for your t-shirts and belts (well almost the same!). If you have a plain white t-shirt, you can always sew some pink or blue sequins right onto the outline of the v-neck, or the outline of your arm band. If you don’t like sequins, you can add little beads which come in hundreds of fun colours if you’re into a morel “natural” look.

Also, really hot this summer, you can add on little bows on your t-shirt (not very big at all) OR you can even tie a bow around your waist line to give the impression of a small waist and a bigger chest. Make sure you use something like silk or satin for the bow to give it a more delicate, polished look.

When it comes to belts…anything goes! You can even make your own belts! If you have an old pair of jeans that you don’t like, you can cut them up and make a belt out of them. Make sure to poke the holes and add a colourful string or ribbon as the tightener! You can also glue or stitch tiny seashells on your belt as well as sequins, glue sparkles, beads, and countless other things! You can also dress up an old belt by buying whatever kind of material you want, and stitching it over your belt!

How to Jazz Up Your Old Clothes!

Now I know you’ve all got some really old, unmentionable clothes lying in the back of your closet just waiting to come out one day! And guess what? You can make them come out as easily as you threw them in there!

Scope out a pair of jeans that you saw at the mall, and try making a replica. This summer, sparkles and sequins will be very much applauded so why don’t you sew a few sparkly sequins onto the back of your jeans (maybe the outlines of your back-pockets)?

You can also go for the rugged look, but be very careful when cutting your jeans, it could end in disaster.

To opt for a more conservative cut, use your razor blade wherever you want on your jeans to give it that “almost ripped” look.

You can also bleach your jeans, but again, be very careful. If you want a design you can always choose a shape and outline it on your jeans; therefore, you only apply the bleach inside the shape!

Of course, if all hell breaks loose and your project didn’t work out there is nothing to worry about because it’s not like you were going to wear those jeans again anyways! Check in tomorrow to see how you can glam up your t-shirts and belts!

So...you wanna become European?

Well maybe I can't help you BECOME European, but I can give you some good tips on how to LOOK European. First off, you have to completely forget all about the fashion here in North America. Ok, maybe not all of it, but a big chunk for sure! First, think about how tall/short you are. If you're short, never...ever under any circumstances (unless of course you're going to the gym) wear running shoes. Always wear high-heels. It doesn't even matter what kind! Some cute platforms, stilettos and of course, boots.

Second, always remember that an European girl will always accessorise: there is no such thing as a pair of washed-out jeans with a plain white tank-top and running shoes. Make your outfit fun! Put on a sparkly belt, some nice earrings, but just make sure you do something!

Third (some people are going to criticise me for this) but it's the plain truth! Almost all European women smoke. And, believe it or not, it is a turn-on for most men when they see an attractive woman smoking on a cigarette. Now, unless you don't smoke already, leave the third point out :)

Last, but not least, have some attitude. European girls have lots of attitude, and most time they are so-called "bitches". Don't be mean, but don't be a pushover either. If you're too nice, people will just go on and walk right over you!
