5 New Summer Looks

Sure there are lots of new styles coming
in this summer, and we’re all going crazy
asking ourselves what to wear, and when to
wear it. It can be hard at times, but if guided in the
right direction anyone can look the part of a summer
goddess. All you have to do is follow some
simple procedures and of course, always wear
whatever looks good on you, not on a supermodel!

Let’s start off with the flirty skirts. I know it
can be hard at times to pull off a skirt, but these
flirty skirts are a breeze to wear. Try a skirt
that’s knee-length which will flatter your
silhouette. You can choose your fabric such
as rayon, washed linen or cotton. You
can wear both solid and print patterns as they will
look great paired up with a fitted t-shirt. Asymmetrical
and hankie hems are fabulous for bottom-heavy figures, while
pleats and flounces are great if you’re lacking some curves.

Let’s jump on to the floral department! You can find
Cheap little flowers that you can pin to the side of
your dress, or clip them in your hair. It will add a soft,
feminine touch. Get a coloured flower like in pink, yellow
or red. Just make sure you remember the golden rule:
larger frames should carry wide spread prints while
smaller frames should go for all over tiny prints.

Third look…the tank top. I know there a lot of people
that are afraid of the tank top because it might be too
skimpy or it might show some bulges. You can either go
“wild” and just wear a tank top by itself (very hot) or
if you’re too uncomfortable, you can always layer. Pick
two colours that suit you and that go well together and
match them up.

For some racy wear, try some lingerie inspired looks!
Get this new look by wearing a laced trim
on your tops and bottoms. It will add a very
soft and delicate touch. The idea
is not to wear your lingerie around town,
but just to give a littlepeak so to say.
So get a cute tank-top that’s rimmed
with lace or even a lace-rimmed skirt.

And the last new summer look is the bright print.
Now I’m not saying go running for the
bright fuchsia or bright yellow, but add some
colour to your wardrobe! You can pair up a white
T with a hot pink skirt, or a cotton candy pink
shirt with denims. The key here is moderation;
if you’re going to wear a bright colour for your top,
make sure you wear a neutral colour for the bottom
and vice-versa! Just make sure that you hold the colour
of the fabric against your face before buying it, so you
don’t end up looking pasty!
